I have done "Snow White," "Bonsai" (the "Weekend Edition" interview version), and "Movie" at picking parties, but don't have the tabs typed out yet... (I know, what am I waiting for?) However, I happened to run across the "Darweb" transcription page for Dar Williams (http://www.panix.com/~tneff/dar/tabs/), and I see that they include various legalese and mumbo-jumbo about copyrights, with an agreement from the publisher... I assume we face the same minor obstacle? I assume we face the same minor > obstacle? > > Paul As many of you may know, Darlist was the main inspiration for believers, and Tom Neff the list meister was helpful in creating this list. Tom is, however, a paid consultant to Dar personally not to her management, although they are part of the decision making process. As such, Tom has a fiduciary responsibility to Dar, in a very legal sense. Bet you thought you'd never see that word used here! :-) I, on the other hand, am a volunteer, who works for the opportunity to see some shows from backstage, and to learn stagecraft from a master. This is not inconsiderable compensation, in fact, I think I have a hell of a lot better deal than Tom does, and I certainly play guitar better ;-) Susan is fully aware of the wonderful job Sherlyn does on the lyrics archive, and supports it 100%. As for tabs, I don't know, but I will ask her at my earliest opportunity. My own personal feeling is the same as the one I have about the lyrics archive. Anything that will help Susan's music get in front of more people is a good thing. And that's what I'll tell her. Meanwhile, I have server space available to archive tabs, so when we get the official okie dokie, the space is there.
