(Last time was at that short set at the New Bedford, MA festival when we made the great pin decision) Speaking of pins, I am really writing because I wanted to update you all on the pin situation. I still have several orders (and several uncashed checks). Thanks for being so patient. My life has taken a major turn for the busier so I am still behind on many "volunteer" projects. I hope to get caught up (on the pin orders) within the next couple of weeks and will keep you posted. PLEASE let me know ASAP if you sent me a check AND it has been cashed AND you didn't get your pin yet AND your initials aren't RR (don't worry your's will be in the mail soon, if I don't get any more flames :-). Everyone else, look for an early present in a bubble envelope but don't open until Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever, unless of course you are heading to a SW concert in which case you'll have to make your own decision. Like a good professor would say if (s)he wanted to be sure most of the the class got it: - ----------------------------------------- I am not currently taking any new orders! I am not currently taking any new orders! - ----------------------------------------- Sorry, I need to stop, get caught up and then I'll decide what to do next. If there are any leftovers you'll be one of the first to know. NOTICE: I hear (and confirmed) they (the pins) are not waterproof/don't like the rain. Keep that in mind and if you insist on wearing them in the rain you might want to look into putting a coat of urethane (or some other toxic substance) on them. They are sprayed with a light finish but apparently it is not sufficient for the rugged outdoorsperson. Consider it a fine piece of handmade jewelry and treat it accordingly (or Susan will melt before your very eyes). BTW: I'm not Charlie. If you know who I am, I am trying to remain anonymous (though have failed on several occasions) so please don't blabber my name all over this list. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing many of you at her next great Northeast concert (and she had better do the French one)! BTW: Does Susan's new beau wear a pin to her concerts?
