Since it's 2 a.m. and it was a 2 1/2 hr. drive in torrential rain each way this will be a short review! Susan was wonderful!! Was that short enough? Ok- I'll give you a little more. If this is what love does for Susan I hope this is the old fashion, true blue, lasts forever kind! She seems so much more animated, happy, positive and upbeat- having fun and really enjoying doing what she does so well! If anyone has a better suggestions I'll welcome their input. I'll also assume the blame if I'm wrong...but "What the hell?"- I have to call them something! Between sets I asked Susan if it was disconcerting having people in the audience who knew the words to every song except those written in the last week or so? She said that was why she kept writing new songs every week. When she repeated the question during the second set she credited the internet and lyric sites for people around the country knowing the songs even before hearing them live for the first time. Keep spreading the Word people!
