I have looked everywhere and grilled my co-workers unmercifully to no avail. So I'm turning to the only bunch who will truly understand what a blow this is - what a loss, what a tragedy. I'd like to get my hands on the person who felt the need to do this to me and.... well, I won't go into that here. Just wanted to vent a little and NOT hear 'Geez, it was ONLY a coffee mug, for cryin' out loud'. I mean, what could this mug have meant to anyone else? Every single person who has ever seen the mug here at my office says 'Susan who?' and I can see their eyes glaze over as I attempt to describe who she is and what she means to me. Thanks for listening - and if you have a LOTGSG coffee mug, be thankful - and lock it up tight!! Well! I sympathize with you! I have had tapes stolen out of my car and it's quite painful! And I'm sure they were probably teenagers and it later became painful for them when they looked through my selection. I can only hope the theives listened to the music anyway and cleaned their act up! I would guess that this was a person who didn't know you at all. Perhaps someone who just needed a cup and saw it there, and couldn't give a damn what's written on it. Wait.. now I'm feeling worse - at least it should have been stolen by someone who would be able to attach a sentimental value to it - albeit they're a theif! Steve p.s. Seein Susan this Saturday at Franklin Mass Circle of Friends! (Sorry Suzie - don't be mad at me). Hope to see some of you there! When I was a DJ on my campus station in '97, I once made the mistake of leaving my LOTGSG CD in the studio (I had a Tuesday 7-9 AM show and I dont really function in the morning). I realized this during my 9:10AM class but could not get back to the studio until about 3PM. Needless to say, the CD was gone (I had a new one by the next week, have to do my part to see that Susan gets the airplay she deserves!). The only consolation was that maybe the person who stole it was playing her music and turning people on to her. The kicker is that later that semester the WLVR staff posted a sheet in the studio asking people what music that we thought they should buy... a Tuesday afternoon DJ added Susan to the list. I knew who had my CD, but of course there was no way to prove it and therefore nothing I could do. On an unrelated note, (this is to everyone) as I am new to the list, is there a FAQ? If not, how would I go about getting a believers pin? Best of luck finding the mug! -Terry - ----Original Message Follows---- Hello, all, As if it wasn't bad enough reading about all these fabulous concerts at Passim and Tin Angel - when I got to work this morning, my LOTGSG coffee mug was MISSING from my desk.
