I saw Susan perform at the Maintenance Shop at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. As usual Susan was fabulous. I brought 5 friends with me to the show because I told them they would love her and at the end of the show they all ended up buying her CD's. I was glad I could enlarge her following if only by a few people. I was planning on leaving after the first show but on the spur of the moment two of my friends talked me into staying for the second show. I have to say that the second show was even better than the first. She totally changed her set list and only repeated a few songs from the first show. Both shows were great and since these were the last shows of her tour she seemed relaxed and had a lot of energy. I had the chance to talk with Susan between shows and then after the second show. She was very sincere and genuine just like her songs. It's always fun to see her in Iowa since that's where she's from. She makes little jokes and comments that only Iowans would understand. I can't wait for her new CD to come out and for her to tour again. I always look forward to seeing Susan in concert. Her CD's are excellent however they don't completely capture her live performances.
