I first saw him perform with Ellis Paul and Vance Gilbert, apparently all good friends. Ellis will be at the Kent State show as well. Any of you who make it can ask him when he is going to marry Jane so she doesn't havce to change her last name. Catch Don, Vance and/or Ellis anytime you can, especially if you like nice guys (they are nice all the time, not just for the audience). For you Philly/Tin Angel fans, see them all on: Oct 9 tin angel /as sideman for ellis paul who splits the night with vance gilbert 215-928-0770 philadelphia pa Thanks for the heads up Paul. I'm going to see Don (and Ellis) at his CD release party at Passim's in Cambridge, MA on Thursday (9/16). Any other believers going to make it??? Her intro about, "bridge longer than the relationship.." - especially if you are traveling WITH the other half of the relationship, and the traffic is awful - I could just imagine - "I TOLD you we should hav e gone the other way, we're gonna be late, my mother will hate us" "Well I hate your mother anyway, and right now you sound just like her...." Not a chance...according to a friend who's on the Dar-list (and told me of the discussion there), there's already quite a line formed. To marry Ellis, I mean. (And I'd be first on line if I thought it would do any good... :> ) Anyway, Jane would still have to change her name, wouldn't she? I believe "Ellis Paul" is a stage name. >Thanks for the heads up Paul. I'm going to see Don (and Ellis) at his CD >release party at Passim's in Cambridge, MA on Thursday (9/16). Never seen Don Conoscenti, but I caught the Vance-and-Ellis show at the Towne Crier last weekend and it was quite wonderful.
