He's back today so I did. He confirmed that Susan Werner did sing the National Anthem in a Packers/Bears game in 1997. He said that he saw her on a PBS special with Peter, Paul and Mary. He then saw her in concert at Barat College (local college here in Lake Forest). He asked her if she would like to sing the National Anthem and I guess she agreed. I told Pat that you said she was playing at the Old Town School in October. He wanted to know the date of the appearance. Jen Cauvin will be opening for her. The concert will be outdoors, weather permitting, and tickets are only $6, children 16 and under are free. This is a great venue, and well worth the drive.
