I think I am experiencing problems with the new website as well. Ever since the layout change, the only menu options visible on my screen are Biography, Itinerary, and the top half of Merchandise. A scroll bar comes up on the right side, but that only moves her picture, not the menu on the left. Are there still as many menu options as the previous layout? If so, I cannot access those areas. Please let me know if I'm missing anything! In response to SNAFUZ1, there are 5 options on the left side, which link to more options. I haven't been following this thread too closely, but are all the people having problems people on AOL? If so, the problem is probably AOL. AOL may be the biggest, but I have seen so many problems that only AOL people have, and this could be yet another one. Help? I looked at the layout in a couple of display resolutions. Part of the mystery is as follows: 1. as best as I can tell, the 'new' layout was put up April 26/27 (Marty??) 2. the new layout had 4 frames - the top with the message, the bottom with the copyright info, the main content frame (with scrollbar) and the menu (which has a large SW graphic about 1/3 the frame and a counter in addition to the menu) 3. the new layout has been designed for use with a minimum screen resolution of 800x600 - and the menu frame has been set to 'no scroll'. 4. luckily, the schedule page is set up in a table which resizes to the browser window, so it is visible. 640x480 is a typical default setting on new systems, regardless of the monitor size, system type, and video card. (I oughta know - when I bought a 17" monitor & a VGA/SVGA card with a lot of video memory, the shop still left that default!!!). At 640x480, even with the browser at full screen and reducing the browser font as much as possible, it is not possible to see all of the menu choices. And with 'noscroll' defined for the menu frame, it means no "ugly scroll bar", but you can never see the whole menu list. Only suggestions: If you feel comfortable browsing around in your machine and you have Win95/98, go into the Control Panel, find the icon for "Display". Go to the "Settings" tab, and the "Display Area" slider - it will probably be at 640x480. Try the next setting up - should be 800x600. You'll be shown a test version of how your monitor handles that size before it is "set". Otherwise, we can only hope that the site might be redesigned so that it is more universally accessible. BTW - to those not able to find Postcards From the Road: they're found within the link window you get from the "Bonu Tracks" menu choice -- which is the last one in the menu frame; this might be why some people can no longer find them via the menu. (I can't remember if their old URL was within 'html' or not) Regards, Carolyn Andre - ------------------- Chicago, IL / USA | Support Independent Music! It could be that (AOL specific) or it could be browser related (older versions of IE4 or Netscape or other browsers, that don't support newer web technology (Frames, Transparancy, etc)). If you have Internet Explorer 4 or higher or Netscape 3 or higher, then you shouldn't have a problem viewing the page. Solves the problem with the SW website, but creates other problems with my system and everything is way too small. Switching back and forth seems somewhat tedious. I have IE4 (Version 4.72.3612.1713 - SP2), so the problem must be, in part, with AOL. Not surprising. Personally, I hope that the site can be redesigned so that it is more universally accessible or at least not be defined as "noscroll".
