I have a picture of Susan from her show in San Francisco that I'd like to get to her. Does anyone out there have an appropriate address? Perhaps an address of her manager or publicist? I appreciate the help. - Mitch Sava =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Mitchell E. What is your favorite non-mainstream music station, and where do you feel they are headed. Is the corporate mindset taking over RE: indie vs. major label airplay? >> I would like to mention WERS (Emerson College) Boston. While I don't know as I would call it my favorite (choice of, what, two?), it is well worth listening to. Altho public radio affiliated and some of their funding comes from NPR, they are a completely student run station - not just DJ's, but producers, fund raising, events, etc. Altho I am one of those "boomers" SW sings about (a late one, OK!) and would not have expected to like a "college" station, it was recomended as a folk music source. They play a range of non-pop music, in specific time blocs, so you know when to tune in - folk, jazz, new age, reggae, ethnic, and on weekends a program on all acapella music that is great! They promote a lot of local acts,w/ lots of in-studio live music. Occasionally you must suffer from non-professional DJ's, but in general I was just pleased to see a student run station playing something besides an endless stack of Alanis wannabes.
