I have just gotten a contract to write a boring technical book , and in order to make time for it I am cutting back on my daily email reading by unsubscribing from all mailing lists. In the RARE event that Susan has a concert in FL someplace, if somebody thinks of it, please let me know (I know there are some of you out there who know me and may remember this - thanks!). Thanks for a great time! I should be back in September! ___________________________ Chris Leonard SQL Server / Windows NT MCP Shameless Plug for Techies: the book will be called something like "Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 7 Exam Prep" by Coriolis Press, and is an exam preparation book for a Microsoft Certification Exam. It was fun reading the reviews of TBT on Amazon. I am grinning from ear to ear about the comment by the person from Boston who plans to add Petaluma to his/her vacation plans just to see what the song is about. If you're reading this, Boston fan, I think you will be really disappointed. Petaluma calls itself the egg capital of the world and holds the world arm-wrestling championships yearly. Beyond that, it's just a place. Not particularly scenic, although it's nearby a lot of scenic places, like the wine country and the Russian River. It's just a place like many of the towns Susan loves to chew up in her on-stage banter.* The song is about hanging out with friends in the backyard on a sunny afternoon - it's not about what a great place Petaluma is!! If you live in Petaluma, don't be offended. I'm not saying it's a bad place, but come on, would you tell someone from Boston, "If you're ever in California, you just have to check out Petaluma"? * Susan recently admitted chewing up San Luis Obispo while performing in Santa Barbara the other week. SLO, IMHO, is probably a nicer place to visit than Petaluma.
