No offense. Just go easy on the muscle stuff. (Kris is bigger and younger) I think the pick and chain is a great idea. And we will pursue the buttons as well; they can be an alternative for those of us with less refined taste and behavior. (-; For everyone's info: We do have a request into the "management" for at least implicit approval on these ideas and are anxiously awaiting a response or lack thereof which I assume we will interpret to mean it is OK but we can't say it is OK but we want to say it is OK. Does that make sense? (-: Does everyone know that there is a difference between this (-: and this :-) ?? Does that > make sense? (-: The name "believers" of believers@smoe.org is not a regitered trademark or copyrighted in anyway. I like it that way. This list truly belongs to the people on it, not me, not Susan, not her management so any use of those two terms is OK. SusanWerner.com is owned by Susan personally, I made sure of that. Note there is no www at the beginning. So Susan can personally approve the use of that term, and I see no reason why she wouldn't. The only real issue is the use of a publicity photo whose ownership could be held by one or many people. The goils made a relatively quick turn around and i only recived an acknowledgement that my mail had been recived. In Iit I requested that they look over the digests during the period that the list pin discussion was taking place. Since they are already on the west coast it seems unlikely that they had a chance to review that info (hey, we out-mailled the darlist almost 4-1 during that period) Here's what i would like some kind West coaster to do. When you chat with the ladies, let them know what has been proposed, and ask if it's OK> The permissions we need are 1)can we use a photo, and if so, which would Susan prefer? 2)can we use SusanWerner.com on a button or pin? If someone can scrounge that info up, it would be greatly appreciated. Personally I might like one of those necklaces myself. It would go good with that little burgundy number I picked up at Neiman- Marcus. Just wanted to throw in that, if my limited French & even more minimal opera knowledge got it right, Susan was camping it up with one of the arias from La Boheme. And that, as a kind of 'encore' / 'closing', she returned to the front of the room, swished er mouth with water several times, and then 'hit the high note' for us in proper operatic finale! She might not have chosen to go into opera, but for the short evening amusement, she certainly filled the room with the rendition! Oh - and her progression from front of the room to Darryl *is* neatly captured by Alan Rowoth's photos (URL Sherlyn also kindly posted earlier): http://www.lpl.org/people/alan/Album.NAFA99.html ... the original quote: >This is from the latest NOMA newsletter... > >> >>Ahhhh, yes. . .
