Maybe I'm just turning into my parents, but other than Aerosmith, there wasn't one performance that really caught my attention. SW would've blown that audience away! I agree that's its disappointing but I have to say that I'm really looking forward to seeing where Vanida's talent takes her from here...... she's worth keeping an eye on and she's performing in the area by turns as a solo artist, part of a trio and with a full band. For information on her you can try philly.digitalcity.com/junerich or coming soon at vanidagail.com Thanks for asking, Tony............ and welcome back :-) Peace, Courtney (Something Black) "In the laughing times we know that we are lucky...... in the quiet times we know that we are blessed" - -Dar Williams "Life is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel" - -Horace Walpole HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at songs.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Feb 1999 21:46:47 EST From: PBCoustic@aol.com Subject: good quote I found a quote from a friend of mine, and immediately thought of Susan and her CDs... Now I know that I'm probably going to regret sending this before I read every one of them, but here goes, anyway: I think buttons are a great idea, although I've only seen Susan perform once since we both left Iowa, so I don't know how often I'd be able to use it to be recognized by other believers. (Can you say run-on sentence?) She really DOES need to tour the midwest more often! Milwaukee's Summerfest is just begging for her (or at least should be!!!) Also, knowing the "bent" nature of some of Susan's songs, how many lesbian/gay believers are out there? I'm happy to say I'm one! Well, I'd better get going. I have sixty or so more messages to read. Always believing!
