The most recent issue ran a real good interview with Gordon Lightfoot and did a nice job. I would like to see "Acoustic Guitar" do an articleon Susan's great guitar work and those smokin D-35' s Bill Hall Bill, I say, let's innundate the editor Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers, with letters and email, and get Susan an interview! Everything they write and/or sing about brings their emotions, experiences, imagination and style, as well as their humor and their vulnerability out in the open for the world to see. Of course they're self-indulgent! And we indulge them, too. After all, we go to Their shows, to see Them perform, Their music, in Their style. But I don't see how performing a Cheap Trick song in Susan's own unique style qualifies... 3) Was it really 15 years ago that Cheap Trick was HUGE...? I'm still a Cheap Trick fan too, but this IS 1998... 4) I'm not trying to defend Susan...don't think I need to...sure she could do it more eloquently (and sarcastically) herself... 5) I feel much better now! Think I'll go listen to some SW, maybe Soul's Not At War would be a good start... PS Oh, by the way...For any SW fans in S.E.Pa. tickets for the 1/22/99 show at Godfrey Daniels in Bethleham are already on sale. I got mine yesterday!
