He does have an authorized web page after all. Hell, Susan resisted the idea of this list. And that's OK too. And what's wrong with thinking the internet is not a good thing? I can think of a few thousand reasons why it's not, and why it is. For example, this list inticed me to go out and buy a CD I might not have consumed otherwise. (-: We can think many ways can't we? Susan is great and so ain't Bill. I love their thinking and their singing. I'd love to see them do a split bill playing a few songs together. Hmm... We'd corraled five people who had never seen her to come with about five who had and we have some converts! I won't go into great gushing detail, but what a satisfying evening. Susan finished with a cover of "This Magic Moment" that brought tears to my eyes. It was a real gift to the audience. She added in this idea that you plant magic moments every time you kiss and that if you plant a magic moment some one will later run into it and "bam!" it's there for them, too. Whew. With references to local streets and places, which really makes you understand that she is here with you, creating an evening just for this audience at this time and place. Magic moment indeed! As usual, Susan was gracious enough to hang out and talk afterward. I asked about "The Movie of My Life." (Excuse me if this has been posted before, I've been too busy to read everything.) She said that they couldn't decided whether to put it on the CD or not since it was so different from the other tracks, but wanted to get it out there, so put it on as a bonus. Tai Burnette opened for her. It's Tai's first tour and she was pretty nervous. After the concert we talked with her, and she said just getting used to the logistics of it all, the hotels, the venues, the stage chatter was amazing. Bought her CD, "Not So Small" and have been enjoying it. Her voice reminds me of sort of a Jewell/Natalie Merchant mix.
