I got it on Monday & have listened to it several times through. It's really a brilliant album start to finish. I like how it's a little more stripped down than LOTGSG. It's a little truer to her live performances. The production values shine too. Now that I'm a little more familiar with the new material I can't wait to see her live again. Fortunately she's playing a few times in the New England area this fall. Apparently, he has received about ten calls already, and is not supposed to be doing so. The number he asks you to call is (206) 528-8523, or you can go to www.seafolklore.org. Rock on! It was great to see Susan at Borders in Bryn Mawr tonight, although I must say the place was packed! I had a chance to exchange just a few words with Susan before the show and got my new cd (woohoo!) signed afterwards. The music was great as always, and of course she concentrated on material from the new album tonight. She did tell me that "Lucky Things," one of my personal favorites, missed being on the new cd for "Vincent." I'll just have to keep going to concerts to hear my favorite non-cd song, I guess. Not a problem! Charlie, I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you -- and any other believers present -- there!
