Pretty good, Charlie, but you missed a couple: - - "(I) Still (Can't) Believe (It's Not Butter)", a paean to the incredible things they can do with chemicals nowadays; and - - the medley, "I Still Believe That the Last of the Good Straight Girls is in My Mother's Garden"... Let me tell you all a very sad tale about a SW fan in Indiana. Hang on, though, because it has a happy ending. This fan has been on the believers list since day 1, and has read one glowing concert review after another, longing for the day that Susan would come to Indianapolis to perform. You may have noticed that it hasn't happened yet. One day, this fan was offered a new project at work that would involve two week-long trips to Rhode Island, in late August and early October. "Oh, yes!" she cried, knowing that SW performs in New England several times a day, sometimes more. Elated, she looked up Susan's tour schedule only to find that not only was Susan taking the entire first week off and not even performing, but Susan would be in Duluth the second week. Dumb luck! Here's the happy ending, including the part where Susan Saves My Marriage. Susan is coming to Chicago (a mere three hours away) on December 12th. Not only is that a Saturday, but it is also my birthday weekend, and you married men in the group may know that the one thing you don't want to screw up is your wife's birthday celebration. Lucky Tom has a no-brainer to plan -- all he has to do is book a room, buy the tickets and get me up there, and he has four months in which to get it done! So, I will continue to look forward to and enjoy the concert review you lucky East and West Coast fans write, knowing that my time will come, too. Sherlyn, I realize this sob story sounds pathetic to you, since I'm at least on the closer side of the equator, in the closer hemisphere, on the closest continent, etc., but I'm sure you can relate to reading the reviews and wishing for the same opportunities.
