Bought it on eBay, thinking it was a legit version, but it turned out to be someone video recording of the TV broadcast. Not very clear, and certainly not copyright legit. Triple at least, perhaps more! I think the Clarisse sisters told us at the Nov 3 Ram's Head performance that between that night and the earlier Halloween Ram's Head show, they performed in ... Pennsylvania, I think that's what they said. Joe, do you remember? The Japanese song - unless I blanked out or something (and I've been working so much it's entirely possible) I don't think they did that at the Ram's Head, not on Nov 3. But they did some solo lines in ... Yearning, I think. And were spectacular. At one point during the post-show chat with the Clarisse sisters, I made the brilliant observation that all of their voices blended so well that they sounded "like sisters" - well duh - but of course I meant with BASIA, they all three blend beautifully together, if you'd closed your eyes during those renditions of different solo lines I don't think you'd necessarily be able to tell that it was all three taking turns, they all sound the same, which is amazing considering the quality of that sound - brilliant and punchy yet smooth and silky, edgy yet pleasant, just a killer combination of tonal quality that I don't hear very often, and Basia just has so much character and life to her, it's a great show. - - Steve - -----Original Message----- From: owner-basia@smoe.org [mailto:owner-basia@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Mike Nice Sent: Saturday, November 06, 2010 8:07 PM To: basia@smoe.org Subject: Report from the Birchmere Couldn't make it to the Ram's head, but went to the Birchmere. > So on balance, the show was MAGNIFICENT!
