Even back in the matt bianco days. :) But yeah, I can see how seeing him not play while hearing him play would be very odd. maybe it was just an oops. :) Leslie - ----- Original Message ---- From: Bev Okin-Larkin To: basia@smoe.org Sent: Mon, May 31, 2010 10:57:35 AM Subject: Re: Jacksonville Show/Orlando show Jacki, Danny has probably pre-programmed and saved his playing all the parts... I remember in 2005 when he was setting up in San Antonio and he brought in a laptop that was the nerve center for his keyboards.... which is very sensible since he is the musical director of the show and is wearing a lot of hats. Heck most keyboards nowadays are computers! If it gives him a chance to take a moment's break and ensure the performance is the best it can be, then that's the professional way to do it. - -- Bev Okin-Larkin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 01 Jun 2010 12:02:32 -0400 From: Paxety Pages Subject: Re: Jacksonville Show/Orlando show I wasn't in a good place to see him throughout, but he was playing when I looked. The computer is probably used to load samples into the synths - - and by samples, I mean it in the oldest sense - instrument sounds, not loops. un abrazo, juan marzenie_99@yahoo.com wrote: > Okay people, > Danny emphatically says that everything is PLAYED, no sequencing, no miming. maybe his hands were out of view or something? > > Leslie > > > > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: "marzenie_99@yahoo.com" > To: basia@smoe.org > Sent: Mon, May 31, 2010 3:02:56 PM > Subject: Re: Jacksonville Show/Orlando show > > > Danny's always had his hands in the various technology for keyboards and such.
