Instead we have Fat Thursday - Tlusty Czwartek - which is last Thursday of carnival - i.e. this year we celebrated it last Thursday. And indeed we eat loads of paczki than (I ate 5 this year) and you have to stand in enormous queues to the bakerys to get them fresh that day, but that day none bakery makes any other sweet things, just donuts.
