That I'm not gonna be head over heals when they're invited to the North Sea Jazz festival. Leslie, since you're 'close with B&D' maby maby maby you could ask them if its possible not only to mention the tourdates on their website/myspace, but the promotional activities (rtv shows, stores and so on - transmitting AND recording dates ;-) as well? Sometimes an artist just hops in and out of a country for promotional activities. Last week I went to see the Polish Anna Maria Jopek. It was the third time this year that she came to visit the Netherlands. It felt like a little trip to Poland. Not only because of Anna, but at least half of the audience was from Polish origin. Poland is since 2004 part of the European Union. That's why a lot of Pools(?)/ Polski(?) are now working abroad and in the Netherlands. Meaning that the music market for Basia has changed. And that it could be interesting for the band (maby a small band) to do tour Europe. Well its just a (happy) thought. One more thing I have to share. Today I went to a shop called 'Used Products' to see if they had an usb-recordplayer. I placed my bike outside the window , wanted to look into the shop, but my view was blocked, by a vinyl maxi single by Basia (Run For Cover). Couldnt leave it hanging there of course. Can't play it, because still no recordplayer. In my humble opinion no modern technology can ever reach the warmth and magic of vinyls' sound!!! BTW, I went now carefully through the translated article about Bydgoszcz festival and it is soo funny :-) there are some polish words remaining among the english translated sentences, but as you're going throu it and your brain is prepared for english so you're trying to read those polish words as if they were english :D Krakow London Bydgoszcz is nice title Dennis ;-) Greetings, Krysia _________________________________________________________________ Invite your mail contacts to join your friends list with Windows Live Spaces.
