About the title, I always wondered if "Cruising for Bruising" was a Britishism? With the non-dropped -ings and all. ;) During the time some idiot critic took the opportunity to use it to bust on Basia's English, which made me want to bust on his nose. Grrrrarrrg. I recently threw that into a summer mix and realized that my love for that song is unabated by time! - --Leslie Thanks for all the responses! Glad I was able to inspire some thought and discussion on the list since I am usually a lurker! I think I am now one of the "older" people on the list (hitting the big 4-0 this August, ugh!), but didn't remember ever hearing that phrase before. Since becoming a Mom, however, I tend to forget lots of things, so it may be "lost" somewhere in my brain. Leslie - hang in there - it gets better! Just when you get caught up on sleep and into a good sleeping groove, something else comes up - and poof - you are back to the sleep depravation torture! Kitty - yes, "The Office" is great and is one of the few shows we DVR and watch regularly! I could see Michael being a Basia fan, can't you?? - --Sheryl **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food. She was so easy for so long: sleeping at length, eating without fuss, very easy going-- I think it made me complacent! She's just learned to sit on her own, woot! Hey, in regard to shows, any Flight of the Conchords fans? The songs just kill me. - --Leslie - ----- Original Message ---- From: "ZZsaZZsa@aol.com" To: basia@smoe.org Sent: Sunday, May 18, 2008 4:36:55 PM Subject: Re: cruisin' for bruisin' question Thanks for all the responses!
