Basia had nothing to do with this (that was an erroneous listing on a discography site I believe). Danny's comment from the page above: "After we split MB I was still signed to WEA so whilst we were demoing Basia's stuff I attempted a solo projectb White Lies. I recorded two songs before the record company dropped me.This [Peppercorn Blue] is a co-write with Ronnie Rossb recognise the solo?" The record was only released to clubs, it wasn't for sale to the public at large. Linda DiFranco is the vocalist and Kevin R. had something to do with the doo dee doops though I have never heard the song, so I couldn't tell you how. Happy bidding you crazy kids. ;) - --Leslie O. - ----- Original Message ---- From: mondony To: basia@smoe.org Sent: Tuesday, January 22, 2008 5:40:26 PM Subject: Lou Reed Basia Danny White Old material Hi all !!! He did do a couple of the more "famous" ones, Cruising For Bruising and Until You Come Back To Me. He also was the mixing engineer on the first two albums and I think maybe WSAYO(?). PWL was kind of a big deal in them days. ;) Dunno about any polls. the Drunk on Love one I remember being among the mannny that Roger Sanchez did back then. I wonder if he had some kind of contract with Sony, he did a lot of the major artist of theirs back then. Random thoughts here. ;) I just don't know a lot about them and I haven't heard some, like the allegedly bad Third Time Lucky one. I can't even judge. - --Leslie O. - ----- Original Message ---- From: Dutchmarc66 To: basia@smoe.org Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 4:03:42 PM Subject: Re: Remixes uploads and downloads Phil Harding did Basia's remix albums, all of the songs? Are there any polls of what the fans think of the remixes (or polls of fav songs/pictures/clips/albumsleeves...)? Personally I like most of the remixes. I'm glad there are danceable remixes as well. Maby D and B are not so fond of those? The DOL 40 oz Of Love Dub? I really like the ongoing swingbeat of Roger's ultimate anthem mix and the Musso vocal remix from Ordinary Day (not sure if I got that remixtitel right). Marcus "I'm from Holland.
