Most of today's music is disposable music. It seems that y lowering the bar on who can get a recording contract (which would seem like really good thing for someone trying to break through) has backfired in owering the standard of music being produced. I have to admit that I really idn't realize that much of the music by the greats in the 60s and 70s would be emembered and regarded as it is today. I guess I didn't regard it as being proper" music, (whatever that means) though I enjoyed it tremendously. But omparing today's music to that back in those eras, WOW. No comparison! Phil P. Yeah, that's it. The subject line is "Respect", and that is what has been ost: respect for music and it's audience.)
