Covers! I heard he had a Christmas CD out... couldn't find it... the search goes on. And I don't care what all you people say about him and his covers, I love him and will take whatever he wants to put out there (kinda like... what's-her-name... oh, yeah, Basia!) He's actually in town tonight and tomorrow, at Sea World, and I'm kinda bummed that I'm not going to see him. But I don't feel like driving an hour in this traffic especially when I have to be at work at 5am. But that's OK, I've seen him 5 or 6 times, so missing him once won't hurt. Danny, if you're reading, tell Peter that Jacki says she likes it when he gets close and cozy like at Pleasure Island's House of Blues or Island of Adventure's City Jazz (yeah, like I have any say where he performs). I was excited about the CDs I got with for Christmas, but found I had no way to write to this group. I didn't have the address in my book, and going to smoe and the website proved to be an endless circle. SO my only hope was to wait until another member wrote in. I only had to wait a few hours, fortunately. :) Thanks Jacki! Anyway, I believe my Basia/MB collection is now complete, as I finally got Clear Horizon. Also, I got George Benson's Greatest Hits of All, and Michael McDonald's as well, and Toto's and Cool & the Gang's, plus another Euge Groove CD, "Livin' Large". My son got me Billy Joel's Live 12 Garden and Boz Scaggs "Breakout Years". Oh, and I also got Gnarls Barkley "St. Elsewhere" from another son. I am in heaven! I really haven't had time to digest them all.The biggest surprise of all this is how many really cool Billy Joel songs that I haven't heard before, like Zanzibar, Vienna, Miami 2017, and Great Wall of China. Man, where have I been? Oh yeah. In Basialand! Well, alright then! :) Oh, and I also got an MP3 player. Woohoo!
