Leslie, Glad to hear your mom is doing as well as can be expected. Glad to hear she is enthused about the prosthetic. Did she see that female with the amazing bionic like one on teevee? Was pretty interesting. Will be keeping her in our prayers. As for sup y'all here. In Texas we are less than 60 days from the elections and I being a politically active lil bee am supporting a certain cowboy hat wearing independent running for governor.... so we are busy with signs and other fun. That... and work. Such is life in our small little hamlet. She's being a ballsy lady about it, as I expected, and doing a lot more without it than I did expect! She's being fitted for prosthetics next week, she's looking forward to it! As far as the big C for now we're all concentrating on the arm issue but the fact is she'll probably have some chemo. It's unknown if it will work, but it's definitely worth a try. As she is allergic to the type of chemo she actually needs, it's a crapshoot. She has aged ten years it seems in these few months, so I worry. But then none of us are promised tomorrow, eh? You or I could be hit by a bus or meet with some ironic domestic accident. Anyone see Dead Like Me? ;) So, yeah. The R's and D's have all lost their minds. Perhaps the time and tide will turn against the incumbents this time around. Maybe Rachel will take them back.
