Are you still in the same area, or did you move out of state? Thanks Leslie! We moved only about 15 minutes away to a suburb called Naperville. We went from a condo to a house - big difference! The lady we bought from got upset with us at the closing and after everything was said and done, told us the house has evil spirits! We like it so far, but moving stinks! (I think *she* was the evil spirit!) :-) Sheryl ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Aug 2006 21:22:37 -0700 (PDT) From: Leslie Osborn Subject: Re: moving (drastically OT) > We like it so far, but moving stinks! (I think > *she* was the evil spirit!) Yikes! Sounds like it. Naperville is nice- we have family that lived there, now in Oswego. Nice towns, very livable! I've got keen interest in moving stories because we're working toward a move too. I love California but I do not love being so far from my family and friends and *especially* my mom. Not to mention the long, expensive flights for a few days of slam-bam visits where we catch up on six months of life and then it's time to go and miss some more family parties, vacations, events. It's been six years, I'm over it! As Detroit is profoundly economically depressed, "going home" per se isn't practical- but the Chicago area is quite close, and a proper city with all that entails, which we love- so hopefully next year we'll be moving to the Chicago suburbs too. *fingers crossed* But then there's the dread cross country haul.. ack! - -- Leslie O. www.basiaweb.com / www.gruentransfer.com "Just when you expect jaunty jazz-coated melodies, 'Cruising For Bruising' kicks Side One off balance with a thunderous slab of mean-mutha rap metal spat from the very bowels of Hell itself."
