Thelma :-) Happy belated Thanksgiving Thelma. Very nice post. This year has been personally very difficult, but I've got a ton to be thankful for in spite of it. On the light side, I'm grateful for you guys in the fan community being so awesome during the course of the tour this year. I can't even tell ya'll what a blast it was. And to get to see them twice this year was way more than I ever thought-- never mind actually getting to meet them, I would have never imagined that would happen!. I'll never forget as long as I live, Basia singing "Promises" in LA as the crowd gathered around her and the spotlight hit just so.. it was like the end of a perfect film! Pure joy, and I can't even say how happy I was for Basia and Danny! On the heavy side, I'm thankful for my family, and all the family I've discovered that aren't even related to me, Something like cancer in the family really shows one who is on your side and who isn't, and I'm overwhelmed at the support I;ve had here back in Detroit. I'm thankful that my mom will probably be OK, even if right now it's really awful for her. I'm surprisingly thankful to be not working full time, so I can be with her at the hosp all day, and I'm thankful for the freelance gig I got a couple days ago that I can work on at night! And on the extremely light side I'm thankful for my spiffin' new iBook and for the neighbor of my in-laws who don't have their wireless protected! Woot! 2006 is set to be a much better year for all of us here that are going through crap. Here's to a better year and *gulp* maybe some freaking brilliant music coming down the pike! - -- Leslie O. www.basiaweb.com / gruentransfer.com My life in the D is a tragic comedy A poetic verse It's voodoo some say-- black magic ettouffe A dead man's curse --Brendan Benson, "Life in the D" __________________________________ Yahoo!
