They play a combination of blues and funk, and put out a ton of music for a three piece band. Their guitarist is a tremendous talent - very electric, but you could hear every note. I had a few beers, listened to two sets, and had a great time. In between sets the bar was playing music from XM satellite radio. They had on a station called New Jazz (or was it Nu Jazz?) Anyway, this was NOT the same boring smooth jazz we fell in and out of love with. This was up-tempo sophisticated music, the likes of which I haven't heard in a very long time. Anybody else familiar with this channel, either on XM or a Sirius count erpart? Sirius has "Jazz Cafi" or "Spa 73". - -- Stephen Ylvisaker greyfell@gns2000.com "Never do business with pets you don't trust."
