She will be 25 this September. She is maybe busy right now so she does not write quite often. --- You said that I am very handsome? Thank you very much, but I have to tell you that a photo could be somewhat deceiving. Average is maybe the correct term. Do not get me wrong; I said that because I love how I look just the way I am, not because I am unsatisfied with what I have or how I look. Being and acting as an average/ordinary person is just right for me. By this way, living is much more enjoyable. ---- Czesc, Desianto F. At the shows a couple of people I sat near were surprised I could remember Basia from the last time. I just laughed. It's fun being the one they least suspect. ;-) - --- You said that I am very handsome? Thank > you very much, but I > have to tell you that a photo could be somewhat > deceiving. I'm really glad! :-D The whole thing was really cool, the pictures and the effort everyone went through-- Thelma and Steve and Basia and Danny-- was really cool to see! Yesterday, my 3 sons "kidnapped" me and treated me to a meal at my favorite restaurant. The waitress thought we were members of a band at first. But when told what we were doing, she said, "YOU'RE the DAD?" That made my day! :) Phil P. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 19 Jun 2005 20:48:26 -0400 From: "Lonnie Gunter" Subject: Re: Anyone want to see Desianto?? Kinda off topic but not... Something that makes me feel alive and happy is to give a thoughtful gift. (The kind where you have to plan ahead and then LIE like crazy to cover the tracks ) My good husband does not seem to need the little extra that makes a gift special. I have surprised him so so many times over the years and then once thought ..."He does not seem to need this..." so not too long ago I kinda quit doing things for him. Not doing them for him made me feel like I was not expressing my love. So, this morning I did one for Father's Day and it felt really good to me. He plays trumpet and has been reading a book called Trumpet Secrets by Jerome Callet. (the t is pronounced) He has been buzzing around the house for months practicing this method of blowing through the upper lip and the tongue instead of the lower lip. He spoke to Kevin about it when they talked "trumpet." I called Jerome last week and he said that he regularly teaches lessons over the phone. He is 75 and lives in New York. Anyway this morning I surprised Lonnie by handing him the phone with Jerome on the other end. Jerome knew it was a surprise to Lonnie. It was wonderful and he spent 30 minutes with him just a buzzing back and forth. It has made me feel so alive today to have surprised him. I like this feeling. It makes me feel young. I just think there are things we can do that give us memories instead of having days run together and thus make us feel hum drum... We have to make memories and make life interesting.. it will not just happen by itself. Sorry to ramble...
