We'll be glad to get the latest info of your development. Czesc, Desianto F. W. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security. Furry feet 185 yrs old, tho feeling like 155 when Basia sings. Phil H. On 13 Apr 2005 at 8:12, John Flood wrote: > > Not me. When it got rescheduked it conflicted with my Galic Storm > concert. Some bands even use a "tactile inducer" (Bass track on speakers behind them) to keep drummer on beat. But since everyone is reporting headphones that is what the purpose is. And instead of the "old" days of monitoring speakers (so they can hear themselves and know where everyone is), most vocalists have their vocals in their ears with the wireless earpieces - so that is probably what the group is using. The percussionist and the woodwinds/brass are probably using monitoring speakers though - possibly the background vocalists as well. After I see them on the 28th I will give more feedback. - -- Beverly Okin-Larkin ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Apr 2005 05:35:39 -0500 From: "Amy T. The hearing protection concept is intriguing as custom molded ear pieces with the proper flesh coloring etc and a volume control etc. would be a great idea. A deaf musician/singer is....well.... let's not go there. It was really loud in Pantages, but since I'm getting deafer by the year, it is likely louder to others than me. I see lot's of performers wearing them and have for quite some time. I'm waiting for the new technology that allows me to stick a $20 bill in a slot and get an hour of Basia singing live.
