They explained a bit on the MB site (I'm so sorry, Bev and Thelma!!!) 04 March 2005 - A MESSAGE FROM DANNY, BASIA AND MARK - US TOUR!!! The three of us would like to offer our huge apologies for the fact that the first part of the tour (4th, 5th, 6th and 8th of March) had to be postponed. Without going into too much detail, we had visa problems. These will be resolved in the next few days. After rehearsing our band for over a month, we were ready to go and no one is more disappointed than the three of us that we could not get out there and play. We are now setting our sights on the main part of the tour starting in London on the 24th March. (Thanks for the note guys!) - --Leslie __________________________________ Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday! Yahoo! Shame! Such great musicians. Such poor planners (if I'm not being too critical). I was attending two shows...now none. I'll catch up with them when they reschedule the East as I've been assured they will by the venue promoters. It occurred to me this might be a visa situation, since it was the first couple shows, but when it seemed the next two shows were good to go, I wasn't so sure. I hope this is a simple paperwork delay and nothing more. I have read that the current administration has not been overly friendly towards visiting musicians needing visas to perform here. Hopefully no one in MB has ever publicly criticized the Bush administration or ever had a drug arrest...or the problems could continue for them. Steve R. P.S. Got my ticket in the mail for the May 3rd Phoenix show - exactly two months before the show date. It's all a well-planned cover up. Someone finally figured out that their schedule didn't make sense. US shows, UK shows, US shows. So they had a "visa problem", will stay and do the UK shows, then do all of the US shows without making a trip back. Pretty smart if you ask me.
