I checked Wal-Mart, Target, and Borders online, and they are now listing them on the websites. Of course, Wal-Mart is listing it for less. . .I'll stop by this weekend and pick up a copy somewhere. Feels kinda silly, since we already know what's on it! Hey guys - when I originally sent the email below to the list, it included a great image of the Matt's Mood album cover in its American edition, which is very different from the European import that I already purchased from Tower Records. But that image was stripped out apparently in the list. If you were to go hit the Amazon site, you can see that American edition cover there. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-basia@smoe.org [mailto:owner-basia@smoe.org]On Behalf Of > Steve O'Hearn > Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 2:46 AM > To: basia@smoe.org > Subject: FW: Greetings from Amazon.com Alerts. > > > > Amazon.com AlertsDear fellow Basiaphiles - > > A long time ago, I created an "Amazon Alert" to email me automatically any > time anything new comes out from Basia. BTW, Tower had, yesterday anyway, Matt's Mood for $11.99. They put the new releases cheap on the day of release (I even got the new Doves for $9.99!) On the promo poster for the sale they had the European cover of Matt's Mood on it and lo and behold, cheaper than my $13.99 sticker said. Awesome! I do like the other cover and book better but the US one does have its charm. - --Leslie __________________________________ Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday! Yahoo! Juan, I'd appreciate it if you'd visit my Mom, as you are a lot closer, and she'd love the company. I called and told her you'll be stopping by. I note tonight's Letterman has Amos Lee as musical guest. I've never heard of him, but evidently he is playing Joe's Pub this week. Since we know who is playing there next week, can we expect some consistency in the guest programming, hmmmm? I'll be tuned in, for sure. Phil H. His new CD came out yesterday, produced by Lee Alexander, bassist in Norah's band.
