It is $44 each way to D.C. if you want the Birchmere and if Independence services your city. The tickets have to be purchased by midnight Friday and there is a tax on top of that. One nice thing is that you can fly up on Monday or Tuesday and return on Wednesday. I am a bargain queen... It's a very good job you've done, the menu is very user-friendly. Re: Ray Charles. We got to see him quite awhile back in Bangor, Maine, an outdoor venue, celebrating the Penobscot River, 1980 or so. He and his band were fantastic, as were the Raylettes, but he stopped I Got A Woman within a couple of bars of its commencement and stood up and barked at the girls (off mic). It took about 45 seconds for band, girls and Ray to regroup, and the show went on like nothing had happened. I didn't hear anything wrong, but Ray obviously did. Watching the film (which by itself ain't setting new cinematic ground) you quickly forget you're watching an actor - Jamie Foxx IS Ray Charles, it's stupefying. What next role can he take on to continue his success? I'd vote for John Brown, if it would ever be made. Have not seen reference to Johnny Carson - first American appearance in that strangely fitting green outfit, our lovely Basia, on his show, unless I am ridiculously wrong, and I apologise in advance, because I have lost all of my old VHS tapes, including the ones Roach sent me, due to a flood in the basement family room. I think she did Time and Tide.
