Basia kissed your wife and you? That's amazing! Well, it gave me a new idea of a TV serial. If there are "Saved by the Bell" and "Touched by an Angel", I think, it's the time to make a new serial entitled "Kissed by Basia".... :-) Czesc, Desianto F. I don't have WSAYO. I watched the clip in the site, that's how I could compare Kaleidoscope to WSAYO. > Instead of waiting for something good to happen, something already > good has happened. > This is what MB did for you, the consumer. I just want to say that by listening to it, a hope is growing inside me that Basia, sooner or later, will release her works, again, whether it's with Matt Bianco or solo. OK, to the next news. But first, I have to apologize if I didn't reply or write ASAP or AOAP (As Often As Possible) because my ISP was down for days due to the several tropical storms lately. Thank God, my family is OK. In addition, I am still busy restoring a 1993 4-WD Suzuki Vitara (named Sidekick or GEO Tracker in the US) that my brother brought from Jakarta three weeks ago. After listening for many times to Matt's Mood, now I begin to enjoy all songs. My favorite part in Ordinary Day is when Basia sings "Cause you are one I need....". It feels so free and flowing. I also feel more familiar to Mark Reilly's vocal in I Never Meant To. I love to listen to Basia's vocal in Wrong Side of the Street. Cha-Cha is not my favorite music style but I do love La Luna with its little Cha-Cha. IMHO, Basia can sing many styles perfectly so she can make me change my mind about a particular style. Well, let's say, she is really "versatile", isn't she? Say the Words, IMHO, is a little bit "heavier". I think, it has the same characteristics as Perfect Mother. Golden Days? Honestly, I still have difficulties in enjoying it but I try hard to. Ronnie's Samba is much easier to enjoy. IMHO, it's Third Time Lucky and the live version of Half a Minute blended into one song. In fact, I play with the title a little. "...onnie's Samba" -> fill in the blank with a consonant you like, and you'll have a new name in it. (e.g., Bonnie's Samba, Connie's Samba, Donnie's Samba, Jonnie's Samba, Nonnie's Samba, etc...etc...) Kaleidoscope? Just like what I wrote before, it sounds like WSAYO. Slip And Sliding and Matt's Mood, well I think they're much more instrumental. Unusual for ordinary ears but I like the complex patterns of those songs. The violin section in Matt's Mood gives me an impression of the common 1970's songs. Nice touch, IMHO. OK, that's all for now. Have a nice day! Czesc, Desianto F. And I agree about Matt's Mood, I was lukewarm at first, but I'm loving it now.
