Good times."""""""""""""" I really don't follow punk anymore. Does it even exist as it did? or has it been absorbed into the mainstream as does everything else. Zappa said "Retro will catch up to itself". I hear the Buzzcocks on car ads and Devo's Whip it sells "Swiffer dusters" i'm sure the Clash will sell something too (although the record companies own the songs). Punk was about antiestablishment and rebellion. Nobody looks twice at a good mohawk hairdoo anymore. Buttons, safetypins, leather, mismatched clothes and of course the sh*tty in-your-face punk attitude is over. To see someone dressed this way now is sort of a their tribute to days gone by, like a rockabilly fan or a disco dancing fool. My high school punk-like band "the rub" and "huh?!" sucked, and that was punk. Also,,,,,,,,,,,, I have had the MB CD for about 6 weeks now and like the songs, the mix and the mastering tons. Go to the "Sanctuary Town House" and check out Bunt and Nick's credits. It is cool website. For the past year I been working on a new business called Audiovision. Me and my business partner and our genius engineer on the east coast have designed what we consider a WORLD CLASS high end audio power amplifier. It will be marketed under the name "Essence" and the name of the product is the "Ruby" Our web site is under development as I write this. We will be going head to head with other big amp companies like Krell, Classe, Mark Levinson, ect... the ruby's Hum & noise: -102dBW A-wtd 100 ohm input 200W into 8ohms, FRes.-3dB at 1hZ and 350KhZ @ 8ohms, +or-0.25dB 20hZ-20khz. They are mono block configured in a very handsome package. Our first dealer In the SF area has invited us to his suite at the Stereophile show in SF in November......... cool, we think. But, now some bad news, last weekend I was diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to my liver and my lungs. I'm 42 and my wife and I are dealing with this news. I'm telling all you out there this because,,,,,,,,,,well i don't know why. I will win,and I'm not going anywhere soon. So everybody out there take real good care of yourselves and I'll see you at the MB concerts in the US if they do that. Keep speaking words of faith and hope, for they are both very powerful forces. As a pastor, I will put you on our church's prayer list, and will stand with you through this. "This too shall pass!" Well first off, congrats on the new venture. Where is it being sold, maybe I can go visit it before I move. ;-D That's pretty cool about the suite as well, sounds like a good sign! About the bad news-- after knowing you for a good long time on this list, it's clear you're a hell of a guy and are just the one who can beat this thing. I'm thinking of you and your wife and sending the best to you. Because you have a lot of concerts to attend soon and we need you fit so you can represent! ;-D Of course it goes without saying that if you need any sort of anything, just holler. - --Leslie Tired of spam?
