My soon-to-be fiancee introduced me to Basia ten years ago and I fell in love with both pretty much at the same time. We've been married for ten years and our love for Basia (and each other!) has not waned. Yeah, that sounds a little corny. Anyway, we've been enjoying the new Matt's Mood album. My commute to work gives my just enough time to listen to my four favorite tracks: 1, 3, 4, and 10. That is, Ordinary Day, Wrong Side, La Luna, and Matt's Mood III. There don't seem to be any credits on the liner notes for bass or percussion. Are the bass lines part of the "keyboards" credit done by Danny and the drums all digital? Any ideas? Thanks for the link! A couple of things I noticed in addition to the "soon-to-be husband" comment: Danny mentioning that he and Mark keep in touch because royalties from the first MB album keep trickling in - a few pennies were from me when I finally got a copy just a while ago. Did anyone notice the grip Ms. Trzetrzelewska seems to have on the chair Danny is sitting in? Could it be a little nervousness? I might be nervous also after ten years. I've seen her in concert in Milwaukee in 1995 but I've never seen her in a TV interivew. Perhaps she doesn't like them. Anyway it was an excellent glimpse into their personalities. Julian Crampton (I Never Meant To, Kaleidoscope) and Andres Lafone (Ordinary Day) are credited for bass according to the German Universal Classics and Jazz site (I don't have my CD with me but I could have sworn that I saw their names in there). Tony Mason is credited with percussion on Matt's Mood III. I would venture to guess that indeed Danny is responsible for the rest. He does a great job making all the electronic/computer stuff sound clean and organic. My only beef on any of the technical stuff on Matt's Mood? The tape hiss on some of the Ronnie Ross parts (La Luna is a huge offender) > Nathan in St. Clair Shores, MI Hey look, an east sider! ;-) - --Leslie __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? She's been in a few-- but yeah, I noticed that too. Come to think of it, in most of her video interviews she seems less than relaxed. (she doesn't seem too thrilled to be in her new publicity photos either) She's also commented on being shy to a degree. - --Leslie Tired of spam? Yahoo!
