In fact I may go back on the Polish site and order the SACD version cause I just got myself a 7.1 system and don't have any surround music to play on it. If we were still on vinyl the new MB would be worn through by now! lol John P.S. I think the reviewer would said Mark Reilly sounded out of place is on this CD is dead wrong. I think it is a great collaboration. P.P.S. Please my typing......left glasses in car. :) Paxety Pages wrote: >It appears Amazon has billed my account for the Matt Bianco CD - it will soon >be on the way, I hope. >un abrazo, >juan ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 8 Jun 2004 13:24:17 -0400 From: "Lonnie or Thelma" Subject: Re: Good news, I think My copy came on Saturday. I had received notice on Wednesday it was on it's way. I checked Thursday thinking "It could happen..." Then Friday opened the mailbox with childish hope. Then on Saturday I had been to the flea market where a man was making a gift I am taking to Hawaii in August. I saw a Bed Bath and Beyond CD and picked it up for .50 cents just for fun. I had it on playing a very relaxingly slow song in my hybrid car as I approached my mailbox. I slowed down dramatically two houses before my house and drove in "slow motion" to my box then very slowly took my hand off the wheel to lower the electric window (that went down way to fast) then ssssllloooowwwwlllyyyy opened the mailbox and saw "the" box and slowly pulled it out of the mailbox. At this point I am laughing at myself, which in my own opinion is the only thing necessary for me to proclaim that I am the funniest member on this list. Humor is so self contained. I have been enjoying it and my children have been very good about letting it play without complaint.... wait till day 28.... Wish they'd hurry up > and lick those stamps and get it in the mail! I am thinking mine is sitting at the post office waiting for me. When we got back from FL, there was a notice that I had a package that had come registered mail. I can't think of anything else that should be shipping to me, and there was another CD in it (WSAYO) so it probably is a little bigger than just an envelope. NOW, my car is broken down and my wife works too late to get there before they close. I can have them send it but it will take 2 or 3 days. I need to find a way to get to the post office before I go nuts!! We wanted to let you know that there is a delay with item(s) in the order you placed ... The estimate is a 5 to 10 day delay...we'll see how this plays out. Steve R. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 08 Jun 2004 20:22:01 -0500 From: Beej Martin Subject: Epiphany: MB & Basia Mine was $14.50 from an Amazon sales associate and the CD was pressed in Germany. I had noticed several messages back that one of our list reviewed the CD as "Mark Reilly guest-starring on his own album" (close to that methinks) Anyway, was driving home today when this thought hit me: "WHAT IF: This is way the SECOND Matt Bianco album would have been, had the line-up stayed together?" Mark used a lot of Basia as a lead singer as well as both her and Danny's musicality...so I ponder the question... this may well have been the Matt Bianco Second Album had Ms. B & Danny not left the group. Otherwise, LOVE the CD, my home is not as tolerant, but my car is blasting through the fifth round and my workmates love Basia and smooth jazz fusion as I do. It is a wonderful album and I hope we don't have to wait as long for the next one. - -- Beverly Martin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 8 Jun 2004 21:59:29 -0400 From: "Mike Nice" Subject: Re: Good news, I think > My copy came on Saturday.
