I have been out of town for a week and a half (on the wonderfully sunny beaches of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) and my internet connection went down a couple of days before that (presumably due to storms here) so I have been away from my email for a while. My 2 cents on the Sony boycott while I'm at it. I agree that we wouldn't be a large enough group to make them blink. Not to mention they're doing what every other major label does *and* the fact that we don't know for sure that she was dropped. We could probably find out if they did, but we'd have to get half of the US to boycott too to make any difference. I'll read more of what I missed and try to combine responses (if any) so there aren't a bunch of emails from me here. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one, I've been through it more times than I care to remember. The best thing I can hope now is that he passes peacefully, painlessly. If he's at home he's probably as comfortable as he can be, and he's being surrounded by loved ones. I don't think anyone could ask for more when that time comes. I know it won't be easy. It doesn't matter if it's unexpected, or if you have time to "prepare" for it, it's always a rough experience to endure. I will send positive energy your way. Just know that he's had a long life, filled with more experiences that most of us will ever know. He'll be in a wonderful place once that life force moves on, and the ones he'll be joining will be blessed to have him among them.
