It's incredible. It sounds like a Matt Bianco album. Not very intimated as "The Sweetest Illusion" but the reunion provides some pearls. The "vocals clothing" is unbelievable. There are some samples of Ronnie Ross (someone talked about on the list sometimes ago). "Ordinary Day" will be a hit, surely (it sounds, a little, like "Baby you're mine) . "I never meant to" is very emotionnal (ahhhhh, the piano of Danny White....). "Matt's Mood" remains me a 70's movies (Issac Hayes). "Slip & sliding" is gonna make you move. Great, really great. A slap in the face. At last, you can find the "inside covers" (???) at this adress: http://perso.club-internet.fr/mondony/index17.html I'm very impatient to have your opinions Mondony ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 May 2004 09:33:55 -0700 From: "William N. Like I said yesterday, the wait for new material makes me totally willing to part with my dough. (Now though I have the most bizarre recommendations since I bought Unreal Tournament with it, and I bought the Victor Gruen biography on the last order. Wacky.) Oh, and am I reading it right that Danny's wife designed the disc package? She did a hell of a job! I really liked the cover from the first and the inside is nice as well. I especially like that the photos aren't super retouched. The one thing that bugged me was that I didn't see who wrote what lyric. Of course, it could *all* be collaborative, which would be great too. That smiley-face box can't get here fast enough! - --Leslie __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Me like. :-D - --Leslie, feeling exceptionally old herself today. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! With MB's new corporate backing, some changes will obviously implemented to their on-line presentation: Very soon MattBianco.com will exclusively point to the label's MB website. I will remove my more amateurish content and turn it into a fan-site on my own server, Dirkpilat.com but continue running and even update it. Any suggestions for design, upgrade, features would be appreciated, the exact URL will be put here soon. Another thing I have been thinking about is the merger of Basia@smoe.org and the MB mailinglist. Now that Basia and MB are back together I would suggest reducing the amount of double and triple crossreferenced messages and merge the two lists. Any opinions? This would be up to Jeff of course, but my opinion is to move everything to smoe.org. So much spam originates from Yahoogroups pilfering, its unreal. I know smoe is kinda old-school, but its a ton safer. I belong to piles of Yahoogroups so I know this pretty well. Maybe a new name might be in order if this is the case. Something like MattBianco@smoe.org. I dunno. I'm a member of both groups though, and I see what you mean. - --Leslie __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! That didn't *quite* come out the way I meant-- I mean that altering the Basia list would be up to Jeff, who I assume is still the list owner. Of course the *merging* is up to everyone.
