By surprise, he said quite much about the new MB album and the interview with Basia and MB on the last Saturday (5/15). Surely, he answered our question about the countries where they finally released the album. Read his message below and I guarantee that you'll be surprised!... :-) ============================================= Piotr Baranski wrote: Desianto, I am sorry for not writing. I am pretty busy with my school. Matt Bianco and Basia came to Poland last Friday. On Saturday they gave an interview for the national radio which delivered a lot of details about the new album and Basia. Matt's Mood is coming out today all over Europe, later in Japan. The album will also be released in the US in January 2005. Basia will definately go there too. She is doing great. The material for her solo album was recorded much earlier but as she said all the songs she wrote sounded quite sad and she decided to keep them for another time. She found it very interesting to work with Matt Bianco, though. Once again she discovered that writing new music with new load of energy brings her joy and fulfillment. Today she is promoting the album in Germany. After that she is going to Austria, France, Italy and Japan. She will also give a tour during Fall. DVD with her performance is also considered to be released. IF Matt's Mood's going to be success she is planning to record another album with MB. I already bought the new album. It sounds for me absolutely great. Basia appears in every song and she is absolutely amazing. Hope you are doing fine. Piotr ========================================= As what he said, Basia will come to the USA in 2005 so don't worry about the concerts. Of course, the people in America should hoild their breath longer, at least for 7 months. This also gives me a question: if the album will be released in America in January 2005, when will Indonesia get its chance? In addition, she (or they?) considered to release DVD('s) of her (their) performance. Sounds interesting, isn't it? One more, at least, we now have a quite solid info that she will release another album with MB if this one is successful - and I have no doubt about it. Of course, her solo album is also worth waiting for.... That's all! Czesc, Desianto F. W. Thanks for the great information about Basia, all. I'm a Basia fan from the beginning. I live in Boston, Massachusetts and am so excited about the news of her coming back to the US. I went to one of her concerts in Boston many years ago (can't remember when), and it was the best concert I've ever been to, except for one of Al Jarreau's concerts in Switzerland way back when. They both have such remarkable stage presence! I was also really glad to hear about the new release for sale on the costa rican website. One can obtain the Matt Bianco CD on that site for the equivalent of about $15. Not bad for an import. Keep the news coming, I love it! Lonnie from Boston Desianto F.
