Subject: Re: Off topic: Woobie Doobie Hi, I thought you talk about a new music genre such "Doo-Wop" when I read the subject.. :-) Frankly, I never heard that group but maybe I'll check it out later. Well, I can't help much but I think Krystyna is busy enough right now since she had told us that she would go to London in this week - probably, she is in London now. Since - as far as I know - no one here gave the info she asked for, maybe she is still busy adapting to her new place/ environment, new friends, and new part-time job, all by herself. But, I'm sure that when she's finally able to "adjust" herself to the "brave new world", she'll answer this topic. Or, anybody else here has more info? Have a nice day, Desianto F. W. I have been listening to an album called Bootla, and the group reminds me a lot of Spyro Gyra. Solid sax work and great guitar. Very impressive album. It seems to me they should be able to catch on here in the States. Krystyna, are they popular in Poland? Have they made more than two albums? The link to their website is broken, at least to the main page, but I was able to get to it via a cached page on Google. Unfortunately it's all in Polish. Although I'm a Polish-American, I don't understand the language. Dennis (Anxiously awaiting the Matt Bianco project) Yahoo! It was a long drive thru the mountains and over snowy passes, but it was worth it to be there for my favorite cousins - hopefully helped to cheer up their Valentine's Day. Glad to see the list is still perking along. /jan - ----- Original Message ----- From: Barry To: basia@smoe.org Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 12:07 PM Subject: Re: Happy Valentine's Day Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Congrats to Sheryl! You're in for a big (and wonderful) change! Unless of course this isn't your first. The change is still wonderful after the first, but not quite as big. Or maybe it's as big, just different. I still haven't figured that out yet. ;) I hope everyone who has someone has a great time together. We're going for a special romantic dinner at a place about 4 hours from here. For those who don't have someone yet, maybe you'll get lucky like Sheryl and have the first of many dates with someone special on Valentine's Day. Either way, enjoy the day, enjoy the weekend, enjoy life! Barry ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V9 #25 **************************
