But one thing I'm afraid of is if this 'awarding' system is not 'well-organized', it would make other listers or new listers have 'envy' (well, maybe 'envy' is not the right word) feelings. As a result, they would become less interested in the list. So, IMHO, the 'candidates' should be carefully chosen by the listers - and your announcement is the first step to the right path... :-) It doesn't mean that Denis (with one 'n') doesn't deserve to be the nominee. Yes, he deserves it because he had given much new info that keeps us well-informed. Maybe this 'award system' could be made in several categories so all listers would get even chances, e.g., "Smoe Basia List Rookie of the Year", "Smoe Basia List Man/Woman of the Year", "Smoe Basia List Most Active Lister of the Year", etc.... :-) I would be happy being "Smoe Basia List Most Ridiculous Person of the Year" in the list... :-) and I would strive to get it again in the next period... :-D Czesc, Desianto F. The GSIA does not yet exist but if it did he should get some votes for it. This news about a new MB CD is extremely important if you ever want to hear Basia sing again. Some of you folks may not enjoy Matt Bianco music or have never listened to them at all. They are great. There first album "Whose side are you on" sold something like 1.5 MILLION RECORDS!. (My # maybe wrong) Basia sang on that record! They have many more records and those guys are musical chameleons. So now 20 years later can you Imagine what the songs might be like and what Basia and Mark and Danny and the other musicians have come up with? What if ------They TOUR?------- I'd go...... A horse is a horse. Thank you Mrs. White for spilling the musical beans. Tom Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2004 06:11:02 EST From: Samurai27@aol.com Subject: Re: Hello there Hello fellow Basia fans. I have good news for everyone. I know we have heard on other occassions, that Basia was working on a new CD and our suffering would soon be over. I was on the smooth Jazz cruise last week with Peter White, Euge Groove, Marion Meadows, Angie Bofil and others. Because I am in the PW fan club, we had a special party with PW. I had a chance to meet Peter's mother who was on the cruise. I walked up to her and after introducing myself asked, " how is your son Danny". Knowing my motives, she responds, " He and Basia are producing a new CD along with Matt Bianco. Well my face proceeded to create a smile six feet long and walked away after saying thankyou. I could say I heard it from the horses mouth, or close to it. So now we can endure the cold winter with renewed hope. Regards, Denis with one "N" Yahoo!
