I'm sure that most of you are busy and at the same time there is nothing new to talk about. While we're waiting for something new and hot, I'd like to share my experience. I hope you never be tired of it, if yes, please say....:-) Today, while I was thinking about how can I make my photo collection looks good before I post it to www.fotografer.net and at the same time I was listening to LWNY, suddenly I was interested in the lyric of "Not an Angel". Frankly, I've listened to it many times but right now it reminds me to my experience. All of you know the line "with you I feel the earth moves.." in it. And this line draws my memory to that old thing. At that time, my band and I had a rehearsal before a small performance on the next day. We worked real hard in hours and surely we're all tired. When we took a break, one of the female singers sat in the speaker cabinet of my bass when I was turning my back. I played some licks because I thought that I could improve my performance. I remember that at that time we did a Swing Jazz. After about five minutes I stopped. But suddenly, she shouted at me, "Please play your bass again!" I was shocked and said, "Hey, get down! Don't sit on that, please!" But she refused. Instead, she shouted again, louder, "Play your bass AGAIN and I'll sing along with it!" I asked, "Why? I want to take a rest for a while." But she insisted, "PLEASE! I enjoy it very much. Please, please, please,..." I have no idea about why she insisted to hear my bass again but I granted her wish for more five minutes because she began to scream in front of people which, of course made me blushed. IMHO, to sit on the speaker cabinet when playing bass is not so comfortable, esp. when the low B-string vibrates (if you're a bassist I believe you know that). It gives you a feeling like you're electrified or in earthquake. But she enjoyed it very much and reluctantly went down when I finished playing my bass. Until now, I still don't get the answer why. Or, maybe she felt "the earth moves", I don't know. Well, that's all. I hope you like it. If not, you can simply delete it. Czesc, Desianto F. W. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
