IMHO, some Celine's early songs were quite good (I don't say excellent) but they were played TOO often everywhere that resulted in boredom. Years went by and she made many albums and sang many songs but it's gett- ing worse and worse. The materials are not good enough and her voice becomes more 'un-understandable'. I remember what Larry said some months ago about copy- right: many singers try to write their own songs - not equipped with great talents - just want to get more income which result in poor material. I don't know whether or not Celine wrote her songs by her own. But if yes, well, she needs to learn a lot. Some of my cousins are great fans of Celine Dion. They, esp. their youngest sister, love to sing her songs. One day, she came to my house and asked me whether I had a record of her. I asked myself, "Do I look like Celine's fan?" I said no to her. Lucky, she is not my sister. If she were my sister, maybe I'd choose to run away form home rather than listen to Celine's voice all days. One thing that I (and maybe we) can't understand is how can those terrible materials of MOST singers are able to make great hits? Is the world getting crazy? Or, are most people in the world getting insane? Where are sanity and good sense when we need them? Should Basia (and all of us) be preserved and protected to counterbalance this crazy world? One thing I really love about Basia is her honesty. She has a honest voice and a honest personality. Her honest voice doesn't need anything to be more beautiful because it's already beautiful. She doesn't need to pretend when singing. She chooses not to make too many albums maybe because she has a good decision. Because, IMHO, when the artists become more famous and produce a lot of works, they become less aware of the quality. For example, I used to have two albums of Air Supply. The older one has some great songs and I like it. But the newer album failed to keep up with the older so I just listened to it twice, just to make sure that I bought the wrong thing, and sold it to my friend with a cheap price. Lucky for her, she got a like new stuff but really cheap. Finally, I think, when the world is ready to receive honesty, Basia will return to sing. Czesc, Desianto F. W. I'm sure that there is a small airport in Jaworzno (because the bigger one is in Krakow) but the question is where or to what direction? It's not fun anyway to search a house within the area of about 9sq. miles. Czesc, Desianto F. W. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo!
