As far as I know, the address basia-digest@smoe.org is the sent address, i.e. the address that is used to send a new topic in the list. The address basia@smoe.org is for reply messages. I have no idea if the address is now combined into one or something like that. Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll try your suggestion. Desianto F. If yes, please accept my warm welcome. BTW, where are you from? If you receive a message that somewhat 'outside' of Basia world, e.g. that "Ninibeth Beatrix Leal Jimenez", it's because most uf us really like to make jokes (and maybe TOO friendly). Unfortunately, if you're new, you came here when the hard period of this list is still running, it means, there is only very very little info about Basia out there that we can discuss about now so we try almost everything to keep the list running. However, sometimes there is a little info about her, e.g. the topic of Basia Rarities and the Compilation of her work entitled Simple Pleasures, released by Sony in June 2003 some weeks ago, or the discovering of her first(?) international work in 1983, contributing her vocal in the instrumental of Earth Song by Ian Lynn some days ago, that comes up to the list so we are still be able to keep our identity as Basia fans. All we need is waiting patiently (including making jokes and lurking...:-).)... Just wait and see, because some of us are really tough 'searchers', who are able to find any info about her, even to the 'core of the earth'...:-) So, right now, if you want to ask anything about her, you can ask us. We will answer it happily. Or, maybe you have info about her, please share it to us, we want to know. But if you want to leave, well, we can't stop you because you have right to do that though we'll miss you. Hope this will answer your question. Thanks. From Indonesia, Desianto F. W. P.S. Is there anybody here who can 'polish' my answer so Mark will get a 'clear horizon'? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! In fact, most members don't. Most members just scan the chatter for tidbits about new recordings, old recordings discovered, appearances, interviews, and tour news. The chatter keeps the list going, and maintains the "family" atmosphere. Here you are, Mark: - ------- To subscribe (or unsubscribe) send mail to "basia-request@smoe.org" with "(un)subscribe" in the body of the message.
