But Twin Peaks, yes, though I got difficulties in following the story because of my young brain at that time. But I do remember that the TV series have many beutiful songs/ music. The characters that I can remember are dr. Diana Krall is great but I think she should start to write her own songs. You know, back on the Julee Cruise thing. I've been listening to this Astrud Gilberto album and there is one song that sounds so much like a Julee Cruise song. It trips me out every time it comes on. After I join the 21st century and buy a DVD player, I think I'll look for that Julee Cruise video. Geez, would they put it on DVD? Don't they transfer EVERYTHING over now? Oh well, I'm the one who still misses my turntable. We do talk about Basia, along with other artists. It will not be just fan club info. Just so you know. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2003 20:22:43 -0700 (PDT) From: "Desianto F. Are you new here? If yes, please accept my warm welcome. BTW, where are you from? If you receive a message that somewhat 'outside' of Basia world, e.g. that "Ninibeth Beatrix Leal Jimenez", it's because most uf us really like to make jokes (and maybe TOO friendly). Unfortunately, if you're new, you came here when the hard period of this list is still running, it means, there is only very very little info about Basia out there that we can discuss about now so we try almost everything to keep the list running. However, sometimes there is a little info about her, e.g. the topic of Basia Rarities and the Compilation of her work entitled Simple Pleasures, released by Sony in June 2003 some weeks ago, or the discovering of her first(?) international work in 1983, contributing her vocal in the instrumental of Earth Song by Ian Lynn some days ago, that comes up to the list so we are still be able to keep our identity as Basia fans. All we need is waiting patiently (including making jokes and lurking...:-).)... Just wait and see, because some of us are really tough 'searchers', who are able to find any info about her, even to the 'core of the earth'...:-) So, right now, if you want to ask anything about her, you can ask us. We will answer it happily. Or, maybe you have info about her, please share it to us, we want to know. But if you want to leave, well, we can't stop you because you have right to do that though we'll miss you. Hope this will answer your question. Thanks. From Indonesia, Desianto F. W. P.S. Is there anybody here who can 'polish' my answer so Mark will get a 'clear horizon'? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
