Anyone here in the music business? I'm not directly anymore, but I've made a few friends in the business over the years. I'm just curious if anyone here is active in music. Also, anyone on here from any part of Asia? I spent some time in Thailand and was fascinated by the way Western pop culture is assimilated without destroying many traditions and their own classic culture and ancient music. I was there before Basia, but I'm betting that her music is very popular there. Speaking of learning English, I noticed some discussions of learning English here. English is the second language of Thailand. I spent a good deal of time in northeast Thailand teaching English to Thai and Chinese. One of the most important aspects of teaching language is overlooked by many teachers. To sound like a native speaker, one must learn to pinpoint the exact place in the mouth where the sound is produced. It's different for every language.
