Subject: Re: Influence For me, by knowing or finding out the meaning or messages of the songs, I can decide whether one song is really good and the other is just an ordinary song (besides their music genre, of course). Maybe it's because I was taught to do that in the subjects such as Prose, Drama, and Poem analysis in my faculty and I found it interesting. Anyway, it's free for you to listen to songs just for fun or take them seriously. Everybody has his or her own attitude to his or her favourite songs. About the song Perfect Mother, as far as I can remember, Basia wrote that song based on her niece's experience.
