The difference is that the complexity of the diminutive form itself. For example Tom for Thomas, Don or Donnie for Donald, Bob for Robert and Anto for Suranto, Kriswanto, Rahmanto, and of course, Desianto :-). BTW, do you like F1 racing, Krystyna? Just guess...
