I can help you about zurek and barszcz but not about Hindi food as this comes from India, I don't know maybe I have used incorrect word and I should tell Indian Food. Zurek and barszcz are soups. You eat them hot. I think it is impossible to cook zurek abroad (I mean outside Poland) as you prepeare it of special essence that here you can buy in shops. It is also prepeare it yourself but I don't know how. So you put this essence with water and some sausages or moshrooms and eat it with potatoes (that you put inside right before eating soup or hard boild eggs. Barszcz is soup made of beat roots (I don't know if I spell it correctly) and some meat flavour and you eat it also with eggs or some other things or with uszka. Uszka means small ears and it comes from it shape, they are made of dough (made of flour water and egg) with moshroom stuffing inside.
